Bengals hope upset win vs. Jets

THE CINCINNATI Bengals aims to upset the red-hot New York Jets when they visit the latter on Thursday evening in the 2010 National Football League season.
Sporting a woeful 2-8 win-loss record, the Bengals is the overwhelming underdog against the Jets (8-2) who are on a roll in the current NFL season.
Despite the huge odds, the Bengals can still pull an upset if they their A-game and limit the performance of Jets superstar quarterback Mark Sanchez.
This year, the Jets are flying high due to the huge performance of Sanchez who is very instrumental in the current three-game winning streak of the team.

Sanchez, who is the star in the previous wins of the Jets was only 16 of 38 for 256 yards and two interceptions—both on disputed calls—and had at least four passes dropped by receivers.
The over-all performance of the Packers negated the lacklustre performance of Packers star quarterback Aaron Rogers who only finished 15 of 34 for 170 yards.
Jets coach Rex Ryan is very disappointed with their loss since it did not only stopped their winning streak it also happens in-front of their fans.
Despite their loss, Ryan is still very confident of their chances in the ongoing NFL season.

QB McNabb Won’t Play Versus Jets

The Washington Redskins will invade the New Meadowlands Stadium in New Jersey and fight with the New York Jets in their preseason game this coming Friday, Aug. 27, 2010. The Redskins are now uncomfortable with the fact that QB Donovan McNabb will not be able to play this coming Friday.

The Redskins were beaten by the Ravens scoring only 3 touchdowns compared to the 23 the Ravens made. Despite losing the game, McNabb was the top passer in the game.

Handicappers and bookies are now analyzing the possible output of the game with McNabb’s presence in the Redskins.

Meanwhile, the New York Jets won over the Panthers last week with QB Sanchez lucky enough into leading the Jets on their 9-3 Saturday night victory .

Can the Redskins cover the spread set for them, and make up with the totals and at the same time with their followers’ expectations? Things are now being taken into consideration by the Redskin just to come up with a very effective replacement for McNabb’s absence.
