The Indianapolis Colts faces a tough challenge at home when it play host to the visiting Houston Texans in the ongoing National Football League season on November 1.
The defending NFL champion will be for a huge fight against the Texans who have a similar 4-2 win-loss record with them.
Playing in-front of its fans will be a big relief for the Colts but the team still faces a tough nut to crack against the Texans.
The visiting Texans are dead serious in improving its record against the home-team Colts.
Coming into the game, the Texans are feeling confident against the Colts since they already beat the defending NFL champion at their own turf during the NFL opener 34-24 last September 12.
In their game, Texans reliable running back Arian Foster was simply awesome as he produced a number of career highs in the game 33 carries, 231 yards rushing and three touchdowns — all in the second half — on the ground.
To win against the Texans, the Colts must learn how to contain Foster and limit his numbers.
Aside from Foster, the Colts also faces a tough challenge of playing hurt in the game against the Texans.
Pro Bowl tight end Dallas Clark and receiver Austin Collie, who both caught touchdown passes from Colts superstar quarterback Peyton Manning earlier this year are both out with an injury.
Clark is out for the season with a wrist injury while Collie, who has a team-high six touchdown receptions, has an injured right thumb that could sideline him for several weeks.
Running back Joseph Addai is also doubtful with a shoulder injury, and backup Donald Brown is questionable with a lingering hamstring problem.
Despite their adversity, Manning is still confident of their chances against the Texans and in defending their crown successfully this year.
Manning said if they play hard and a with a sense of purpose there is a big chance for them to enter the NFL playoffs and defend their NFL crown successfully.
