Lions road woes now at 25th after recent loss to Bills

PLAYING on the road remains an Achilles hill for the Detroit Lions in the ongoing National Football League season.
This developed after the Lions suffered their 25th defeat on the road as they fell to the struggling Buffalo Bills 12-14 in the 2010 NFL season.
With the defeat the Lions fell down 2-7 win-loss record while the Bills increase to 1-8 in the current NFL season.
Bills superstar running back Fred Jackson was the hero for the the home-team as he  ran a  season-best 133 yards and scored twice in leading the Bills get past the Lions.
Playing in-front of its fans, the Bills were very motivated in the game as they play huge as a  team and battled the visitor toe to toe to emerge victorious in their game.

The Lions on the other-side of the coin were sad with their loss since it showed the world that the team is struggling hard on the road the past three years.
However, the team remains focused on their aim for an NFL playoff appearance this year despite their loss.
The Lions said they can still achieve their dream if they continue to play hard and work as a team this year.

Struggling Bills aims 1st win vs. Lions

The struggling Buffalo Bills aims to end their win drought when they host the Detroit Lions in the ongoing National Football League season on November 14.
The Bills are feeling good of its chances against the Lions despite their 0-8 win loss record since the latter is playing bad on the road.
Did we say playing bad? It is an understatement actualy since the Lions are playing really terrible on the road this year losing their past six road games.
The Lions have dropped 24 straight on the road from Sept. 9, 2001-Dec. 21, 2003, have lost three of their four road games this year by eight points or fewer.
If the Bills can have an A-game on Sunday they have a huge chance of beating the visiting Lions.
The Bills need need to employ tough defense and limit their turnovers if it wish to defeat the Lions.
The home-team can further increase their chances of beating the Lions if newly acquired linebacker Shawne Merriman can make debut on Sunday.
If Merriman plays the odds that the Bills will win their game will further increase against the Lions.
The Lions can finally end their road games problems if the team will play as a team against the Bills.
Lions new starting quarterback Shaun Hill who recenty replace Matthew Stafford to that position need to play 101 percent to give victory to the team.
Hill became the team’s starting quarterback after Stafford suffered a shoulder injury in a 23-20 overtime loss to the New York Jets last Sunday.
NFL experts said if Hill will have a huge game the Lions can defeat the Bills again, since their first meeting in 2006 wher the Lions won 20-17.
In six games, Hill has thrown for 1,309 yards, nine touchdowns and seven interceptions while completing 61.1 percent of his passes.

Ravens too much for Bills 37-34

The Buffalo Bills has again failed in its attempt to win its first ever win the ongoing National Football League season.
The Buffalo Bills fell short against the home-team Baltimore Ravens 37-34 in the 2010 NFL season.
The loss dropped the Bills to a woeful 0-5 win-loss record which further dampen their chances of entering the NFL playoffs this year.
The win for the Ravens on the other-hand further boosted their chances of entering the 2010 NFL postseason games.
Ravens safety Ed Reed was the main performer for the winning home-team as he force three turnovers to the visiting team that lead to their victory.
Dependable linebacker Ray Lewis also had a superb game for the Ravens as he stripped the ball from Bills tight end Shawn Nelson, to carry the Ravens to an escaped victory against the Bills.
The reliable superstar quarterback of the Ravens Joe Flacco also had an A-game as he threw three touchdown passes, to improve to 14-1 under Ravens coach John Harbaugh against teams with sub-.500 records.
Harbaugh said they can sustain their winning momentum if they continue to play hard and be too complacent in their next games.
Bills coach Chan Gailey for his part said although their record is not something to be proud off, he is still happy that they almost beat the Ravens at its own football arena.
Gailey said if they can limit or avoid their mistakes he believe they could still recover, all they have to do is to continue playing hard for the franchise and its countless fans all over the globe.

Ravens confident of chances vs. Bills

The Baltimore Ravens is oozing with confidence that they could get their fifth win in seven games when they host the win-less Buffalo Bills in the 2010 National Football League season on October 24.

Playing in-front of its fans is also an added motivation for the Ravens to play their hearts out against the still dangerous Bills team.
The Ravens are having a relatively great NFL season this year due to the strong plays of star quarterback Joe Flacco and running back Ray Rice.
Rice is tied for sixth in the NFL with 115 attempts.
Ravens coach John Harbaugh is confident if Flacco and Rice will have an A-game Sunday victory against the Bills will be theirs.
Harbaugh said they might have a superior record against the Bills but they are not putting things lightly so avoid any form of upset against the Bills.
The Bills for its part are themselves fully motivated in the game despite being the huge underdog against the Ravens.
To get their first ever win in the current NFL season, Bills coach Chan Gailey will also be implementing a new defensive system against the Ravens.
Gailey said from the usual 3-4 scheme they will shift to 4-3 set-up to put more bigger people in-front to make life hard for their opponents.
He is confident that if they can execute their plays well, the Bill have better chances of getting a win against the Ravens.
The Bills coach said like most of the NFL teams, they are fully motivated to play their hearts out to grab a win in the tight 2010 NFL season.
Gailey said he is confident that they could get their first ever win in the 2010 NFL season if they will play and execute more their game-plan.
