Portland Trail Bazers host Dallas Mavericks in Game 6

The Portland Trail Blazers will play host to the visiting Dallas Mavericks in the crucial Game 6 of their best of seven National Basketball Association playoff series.Down 3-2 in their playoff match-up, the Portland Trail Blazers is picked as underdog against the Dallas Mavericks due the last win of the latter in Game 5.
Despite being the underdog in this game, the Portland Trail Blazers can still win and extend this series into a deciding Game 7 if they play their A-game come game-time.Playing in-front of its fans, the Portland Trail Blazers need to start strong and end strong in this game to defeat the Dallas Mavericks.
To defeat the Dalas Mavericks, the Portland Trail Blazers need to be tough in defense in this game and stop Mavericks superstar forward Dirk Nowitzki from scoring big in this game.The Blazers also need to put some chains on Mavericks veteran point-guard Jason Kidd to stop the latter from scoring big and dishing out good assist to his team in this game.
If the Blazers can successfully stop both Nowitzki and Kidd from dominating this game, they have a good chance to beating the Mavericks and extend their series into a crucial Game 7.Blazers superstar guard Brandon Roy whose heroics in Game 4 carried his team to victory also need to play huge in Game 6 to force deciding Game 7.
Coming off from injury, Roy had shown that he can still score as he carried his team on his back in their recent win against the Mavericks.If Roy will once again have a good game for his team there is no reason his team will not win against the favored Mavericks team.
The Blazers might be the underdog in this game but the team can still extend their playoff series into Game 7 if they play their cards well on game day.The visiting Mavericks for its part has a big chance of beating the Blazers and ending their playoff match-up into their favor.
To defeat the Blazers the Mavericks need to once again solid game from both Nowitzki and Kidd.The front-line of the Mavericks lead by center Tyson Chandler and veteran power-forward Shawn Marion also need to contribute big in scoring, rebounds and block shots to defeat the Blazers.
The Mavericks are poised to cruise past the Blazers in this game all they need to do is to play smart and limit their turnovers in this game.
