THE PHILADELPHIA Sixers seeks to tie its seven-game National Basketball Association playoff series when they visit the Miami Heat on Monday evening.Coming into Game 2 of their playoff match-up, the Philadelphia Sixers remain the underdog in their game due to the better record of the Miami Heat.
Despite their loss in Game 1, the Philadelphia Sixers remain confident of their chances against the Heat since they were able to fight the home-team toe to toe before losing 97-89.The Philadelphia Sixers are also upbeat with their chances against the Heat since NBA superstar guard Dwayne “Flash” Wade is suffering from a migraine symptom and could play below his usual game for the Miami Heat due to his sickness.
To win Game 2, the Philadelphia Sixers need to increase further their intensity and play more with focus especially that Wade is playing sick for the Miami Heat.To prevail in Game 2, the Sixers need to play more tougher in defense and score big at the same time.Sixers young forwards Andre Igoudala and Thadeus Young need to score big for their team and score the crucial points during the crunch-time.
Elton Brand, the veteran power-forward of the Sixers also need to contribute big in points and rebounding to defeat the Heat in their scheduled NBA game.Young Sixers point-guards Lou Williams and Jrue Holiday also need to play huge for their team to overcome the star-studded Heat team. The Sixers might face a tough odds against the Heat but they can still win if they can play with 110 percent efforts and their A-game come game-time.
The home-team Heat for its part can take a commanding 2-0 lead in this series if they can continue playing with their usual winning game-plan on game-day.Faced with the prospect of getting less production from Wade due to his injury, the Heat needs to play more as a team. The big-two of the Heat superstar forward Lebron “King” James and superstar power-forward Chris Bosh also need to continually lead the scoring chores for their team against the Sixers.
The Heat also need to continue playing tough defense in 48 minutes in-front of their fans to bring down the Sixers. The Heat are poised to get another win over the Sixers in the NBA postseason, all they need to do is to play smart and with determination come game-time.
