The Los Angeles Clippers aims to keep their unblemished 9-0 home-record when they host the rising Chicago Bulls on Wednesday night.
The host Clippers 19-28 is the underdog in this game against the Bulls (33-14) due to the superior record of the latter.
The home-team Clippers, although the underdog in this game, still has a big chance for an upset since they have beaten the Bulls in three of their recent games.
In fact last December 18, the Clippers surprised the Bulls at their own homecourt in Chicago 100-99.
To beat the Bulls and increase their home-winning record to nine, Clippers remarkable rookie power-forward Blake Griffin needs to once again sparkle for his team.
Griffin who is averaging 27.7 points and 13.3 rebounds in the home-winning streak of the Clippers must once again produce a monster game for his team to defeat the Bulls.
Aside from Griffin, Clippers back-up point-guard Randy Foye must also play big in this game due to the absence of the team’s starting point-guard and leading scorer Eric Gordon, who is out with an injury.
Foye must exert 101 percent effort to fill in the large void left by Gordon for the team.
Over-all the Clippers must play their usual game of fast break plays and tough defense to defeat the Bulls.
The visiting Bulls on the other side of the fence must give their A-game to topple the home-team Clippers.
Bulls superstar point-guard Derrick Rose must once again play a herculean game to bring victory to his team over the Clippers.
Rose who is having a great year for his team must contribute solidly in scoring and assist to defeat the Clippers.
Bulls veteran power-forward Carlos Boozer for his part must also contribute big in scoring and rebounding to beat the Clippers.
Moreover, the Bulls must do their best to limit or stop Griffin in this game if they wish to hand a loss to the Clippers at the Staples Center.
