THE mighty Miami Heat team will visit the Denver Nuggets on Thursday evening in the current National Basketball Association season.
Coming off a 111-105 loss to the Los Angeles Clippers on Wednesday, the Heat is fully motivated to win and its second consecutive loss in the ongoing NBA season.
Sporting a 30-10 record, the Heat are the favorites to win over the home-team Nuggets (21-16) due to their superior record.
The Heat might be the favorites to win but beating the Nuggets at home is easier said than done.
According to the data from the NBA, the Nuggets have beaten the Heat eight times at home and are poised to continue that streak if they can outplay the Heat come game-time.
The star-studded Heat could face a big problem in this game if superstar forward Lebron “King” James who was injured in their last game cannot play against the Nuggets.
To beat the home-team Nuggets and end their losing streak, the Heat big-three consisting of James, superstar guard Dwayne Wade and superstar power-forward Chris Bosh needs to give 101 efforts in their game.
The Heat big-three should set the tone early by scoring big and controlling the rebound.
To defeat the Nuggets, the Heat must also play tough defense in 48 minutes particularly on Nuggets superstar forward Carmelo Anthony.
The home-team Nuggets for its part can continue its dominance against the Heat if Anthony can once again produce solid numbers against the Heat.
The Nuggets also needs to play great defense and stop the Heat from scoring big in fast break and transition plays.
The Nuggets also needs to control the rebound and dominate inside to put the Heat off-guard.
The home-team has a huge chance of beating the Heat all they have to do is to execute their game-plan well during their game.
