The Miami Heat aims to get its 31st win in the current National Basketball Association season when they visit the dangerous Los Angeles Clippers on Wednesday night.
The Heat is fully motivated to win their game in order to keep the leadership in the NBA Eastern Conference division and hold second-place Boston Celtics at bay.
Sporting a 30-9 record, the Heat is the odds on favorite to win their game against the Clippers (12-24) due to their superior win-loss record against the home-team.
The Heat are on a roll these days as they have won 21 of their last 22 games to move up on top of the NBA Eastern conference division ladder.
The NBA Eastern conference powerhouse has also won 13 consecutive road wins, one shy of the team record set Nov. 19-Dec. 29, 1996.
They will match the league record of 16, set by the 1971-72 Los Angeles Lakers, if they finish this five-game road trip unbeaten.
The first two stops were far from easy, needing overtime to win in Milwaukee on Friday and Portland on Sunday.
The Heat are having a banner this year due to the strong plays of its three superstars Lebron “King” James, Dwayne “Flash” Wade and Chris Bosh.
The three who all decided to play together this year during summer are playing magnificently as of late to tow their team to the top of the NBA Eastern Conference division.
Both Wade and James are taking care of the scoring while Bosh takes care of the rebounding that lead to the success for the team this year.
To keep their winning streak, the big three of the Heat needs to continue to play big for their team against the Clippers.
On the otherside of the fence, the Clippers will have their hands full against the Heat in their game.
To beat and upset the Heat, Clippers young power-forward Blake Griffin needs to continue playing superb for his team in terms of scoring and rebounding.
Griffin is having a banner year this NBA season that made him one of the elite big-men in the NBA today.
To defeat the Heat the Clippers needs to play magnificent offence and tough defense in 48 minutes.
Beating the Heat might be a tall order but the Clippers could do it if they can give their 101 percent effort come game-time.
