National Football League veteran quarterback Kerry Collins was simply spectacular as he lead the Tennessee Titans to a 30-3 victory against the Jacksonville Jaguars in the 2010 NFL season.
Collins, stepped up big to fill in the shoes left by Titans starting quarterback Vince Young as he completed 11 of 16 passes for 110 yards and a touchdown, directed five consecutive scoring drives to carry his team (4-2) atop the AFC South.
The 37-year-old quarterback was focused and determined in the game as he defy father time to execute plays for the Titans and beat the Jaguars in-front of its fans.
Titans running back Chris Johnson was also awesome in the game as got 111 yards rushing and scoring late in the game to help his team take their lead in their division alongside the Indianapolis Colts and Houston Texans.
Both Collins and Jackson expressed joy over their victory and promised to play even harder in their remaining NFL regular season games to ensure they could get a slot in the forthcoming NFL postseason games.
Titans coach Jeff Fisher was very happy with their victory and give Collins full credit for his nice game that give them a win.
Lead by coach Jack del Rio, the Jaguars made a gallant stand against the Titans but disaster struck when starting quarterback David Garrard suffered an injury in the game which really put the offence of the home-team in disarray.
Newly acquired quarterback Trent Edwards who was put to replace Garrard played inefficient in the as he was outplayed by Collins.
In the game, the Jaguars also suffered four turnovers and was really out of sync in the game leading to their defeat.
Despite falling with a 3-3 win-loss record, del Rio is still confident of their chances in the 2010 NFL season.
The Titans for its part has a huge opportunity to enter the NFL playoffs this year with their latest victory.
