In his first stint as the starting quarterback for the Arizona Cardinals, Max Hall has shown the world he is capable of handling such task for his team in the current National Football League season.
Hall surprised everybody with his good performance in the Cardinals 30-20 victory against the defending National Football League champion New Orleans Saints at their own home-floor.
Playing at their own arena, Hall completed completed 17 of 27 passes for 168 yards to help his team to victory against the Saints.
Hall’s performance in the game is just average after he also committed an error when he throw an interception that lead to an early Saints field goal and fumbled twice.
Although his game is not superb, Cardinals coach Ken Whisehunt said it is still enough to bring victory to their team.
Whisehunt said inspite of being a rookie, Hall did not succumb to pressure as he had a modest game to bring a much needed win to the team that tied them with the Saints at 3-2 win loss record.
The Cardinals coach said Hall still has many things to learn in the NFL but he is confident he can perform well as the team’s starting quarterback.
He said the team is very focused on their goal to capture the Super Bowl crown this year.
The Saints as expected is not happy with their defeat but credited Hall for a good game.
Despite their defeat, the Saints are still confident they can still successfully defend their Super Bowl trophy in the 2010 NFL season.
