The Green Bay Packers has set its eyes on winning the Super Bowl crown this year despite the injuries suffered by some of its key players in the current National Football League season.
The Green Bay Packers is surprisingly enjoying a great 2010 NFL season with its 3-2 record inspite of the injuries suffered by its top players.
The latest Packer to be hit by an injury big-time is reliable linebacker Nick Barnett, who will now be out in the entire NFL season due to a season ending wrist injury.
Barnett who is playing good this year will be sorely miss by his team and will now watch the games of the Packers on the NFL sidelines.
Aside from Barnett, Packers players suffering injuries this year were starting running back Ryan Grant is out with an ankle injury, and rookie
safety Morgan Burnett tore his ACL this year.
With the many injuries suffered by its top players, some experts are saying it could derail the aim of the Packers to win the NFL crown this year.
However, Packers coach Mike McCarthy just brushed aside these fears saying his team has the will and passion to win the Super Bowl crown this year.
McCarthy said although injuries is a key concern of the team, he is still optimistic of their chances since his team works hard, has team-work and determination.
He assured the coutless fans of the Packers all over the globe that the team will continue to play hard to have a banner year amids the injuries suffered by some of team’s players.
